Hello February
Bleeding me gory
Bleak house
Month of short encounter
New fresh beginning
Thawing out of the freezer
January.

Hello  indecision
Blowing hot and cold
Bloody nose
February knows
To  keep a low profile
Mulling over  past woes
The  path ahead is still long enough
Paved hopefully with good intentions
We shall see how it goes

For me personally
February heralds
A birth and a death
Young life born
Venerated old one lost

Snuffed out  poof!
The  long burning candle.
This Month is elegant fast paced
Transitional
A time to take stock
What  is gone
What is best to let go
Compact calender
Of only what
We can handle.

Hello February
You have  your crisp
Cool glory
Before the scents of summer
Come marching in.
