Desert Song

My poems are too long much too long
Do you wonder the length of a desert song
I singing cry so that my heart grows flowers
Living and blossoming a single hour.
Now tears adieu and calm within.
Dawn washes off my
penitent sin.

But night grows anew its fatal dew
Glazing moon with a  maddening hue...
The blue black blurs of absurd desire
Invisible to diurnal fire.

I write I write I write
I think
Till pain
Tires of my paintbrush and
Sinks again...
I pour out poison from my brain
Nectar of Gods turn foul in these human veins.
