Knights and Dragons

Knights and Dragons

The forest... the silver glass forest
The brook... the ebony green brook
The reflections...
Marry forevermore
In the chapel of sable hills
and ashen woods.

The gilded glide of setting sun
The flight of raucous majestic birds
Stirs music that begs to begin new myths
Yet begs to flow unheard.

The tale of castled damsels
The mockery of distress
This knight straddling dragons
Saddles and reins
Such flaming loneliness.

I cannot name the place or time
I cannot plot the face
The rush that's felt it sets her free
In nameless loveliness..

The silk sky has lent its azure
To paint the Brook's soft breast
The brook gurgles and writhes its sinuousness
Upon longing's lissome bed...

The jaded forests have been left behind
Outgrown its hazy forlorn grace
The brook floods its floors of happiness
Singing wanton
A Boundless sky of bewitching praise...
