Weekly Slop Challenge. Courage Dispel.Image

Weekly challenge poem.
Courage dispel image

I bow my head and tears arise
my lashes lost and drowned in lies
The image is blurred
My courage is slurred.
And yet to dispel it
Is cowardice.

I watch the me that isn't me
I stand alone and eye my I
The mirror image
Shows my deceit
The courage  to dispel
The cowardice.

I stare my pain in stinging rain
Rooted on terrace of abandonment
But who abandons?
'Tis a lie
The truth alone,
Always, is I.

Nothing
Dispelling
Never impaled
True self
Is courage
And endurance.

To
Withstand an
Array of
Images...velvet pain

Where every hurt
Is another hue
Of my radiant rainbow
After the
Rain.
