Novus Dies...
Soft white fibers of mist swirling
Dawn is a faint hope
Late coming
And I have waited in the dark
So long a lonely wraith
Bathed in half light.
When softly I tried the handle of time
Hope dissolved doorknob
Tears fog out those eerie lights
Which keep my dawn from
Coming...
Its a dirty world my love
And my breath sucked in
I gestate sorrow...
Your light is a loving release
And I'm awash
In baptismal glow...
Willy nilly my
Lips part as tender exudation
Of sinful song of sorrow
And I breathe in relief
Joyous exaltation
Embryonic gestation of my
New Tomorrow.
The myth exists.
Dispelling squalor.
