Serpents and Saints

Serpents and Saints

Her tresses deflect the waters.
Thickness coils its intentions
Around her vessel
Her boat heaving across oily slick conspiracy.
Sea weeds spring upon
Her slender frame
Hiding her delicacy.
Leviathans are singing
mingling masculine defiance
Rancorous raving against
Her Nordic valor.
A tight rope rages around her waist
Harsh constraints
that finally set her free.

Her boat heaving across oily slick conspiracy
Head cocked she sardonically surveys
The mainland of her imprisonment
Shackled to her boat
Her body sways
Swinging towards Valhalla
May doors open against
Wind and rain
A Goddess arrives
Tonight.
